Something to Chew On

You can have everything, just not at the same time.

Have I said that before? That is one of the best things I have heard as an adult and especially since I have become a mother. We try to accomplish enough to satisfy all of our drives, try to be everything we aspire to be, try to divide ourselves into enough pieces for everyone who wants us.

What happens when you make everything a priority, nothing is and nothing gets the attention it truly deserves.

You can have everything. You just have to chose what you have now and what, or who, waits for another time in life. Unfortunately there just isn’t enough room sometimes. Learning what is important now is part of growing up. So is saying NO.

(Thank you Rod for that little bit of knowledge, as annoying as it is to be reminded sometimes.)

I've decided that you should begin writing again. I think your camera has stopped cooperating because it wants you to blog more. I'm just saying.
